Notes:

The VS-44E seaplane is the last survivor of the three built. Collection includes the earliest known Connecticut-built plane.

Nicknamed "Ford", the Douglas F4D was the 1st Navy aircraft able to fly supersonically in level flight. They were in service from 1956 to 1964.
